i love love love the station!!! their rosemary lemonade (they no longer serve it ) is the best, and their pastries are wonderful too!!! i go here pretty often. however, there is one person at the counter who is not very friendly. i understand that it can be stressful and the work may get boring, but please don't be agitated with customers!!! it makes me not want to visit as often just because this person isn't the kindest. but other than that one person, everyone else is very helpful!!
EDIT: had the sweetest gal help me out today!! totally redeemed from 4 stars to 5 stars :) ps i recommend the dream baby dream arnold palmer!!! -

EXCELLENT PASTRIES
(Ses pics) The flaky crust of the hose made pastries is some of the best in the city. I got the asparagus stuffed croissant and a thick and meaty sausage kolache.
COFFEE - MEH
The coffee is another story. I prefer my Fresh Market brew from home and definitely prefer French Truck.
GREAT CASUAL VIBE
It's refreshing to go to a millennial cafe that isn't trying too hard to be grungy and anti-1980's material culture. Unlike say nearby Church St., The Station feels homey but clean and oddly modern. -

Friendly tidy local coffee shop in Mid City, as is our custom we arrived on bicycles.
Liked the designated racks and even had an AIR PUMP !
Indoor / outdoor seating is spacious.
Lovely helpful staff.
FRESH decaffinated coffee for us.
Almond milk HEATED was appreciated.
Snacks: Lentil salad and delicious vinaigrette was REALLY good.
Less so, the slightly dry savory scone could have used a chutney or ?
Clean tidy place, WiFi good, lotsa locals hard at their 'work'.
Would return and recommend if y'all find yerself Mid City, drop in to the STATION @ 4400 Bienville -

I think this place is so cute. It looks like a little dollhouse. There is a lot of outdoor seating. It was really nice outside with an overcast sky but I could also see it being sweltering during full sun. There was one outlet in the small ivy area outside which was nice. This is a great place to work because it was fairly quiet and there was enough outlets inside. There were lots of pastries to eat too! The bathrooms inside were so pretty! They had flower wallpaper and were painted purple and pink.

Oh how I wish The Station was within walking distance of my house! Such a sweet little coffee shop tucked along Bienville Street. This must have been such a fun little house prior to its conversion. What is really nice is that they preserved the homey feeling of the building, while providing a nice coffeeshop atmosphere. There are both spacious outdoor seating areas (with benches around tables) and cozy indoor cozy seating (with tables and two areas to perch by the windows on barstools). I've spent time sitting in both areas and have been comfortable.
It says something that we've brought two different sets of visitors here and everyone has enjoyed their caffeine of choice. I have to say, I love their Earl Grey lemon bars best of all. However, all the other little items we've tried have also been good. These just stand out to me since it's hard to find a good lemon bar with the perfect combination of sour and sweet.
Best of all, the calming environment and tree-lined Bienville makes this a nice baby approved space. There's plenty of neighborhood parking as well.
